Job Description:

VocoVision is seeking a dedicated and passionate Virtual Special Education Teacher to join our team on a 1099 contract basis. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home while making a significant impact on students' educational journeys.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to the needs of students with special education requirements.
Provide virtual instruction and support in various subjects and areas of need.
Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting strategies as necessary to ensure success.
Collaborate with parents, school staff, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support for each student.
Maintain accurate records and documentation of student progress and IEPs.

Qualifications:

Current Connecticut Special Education Teaching License is required.
Proven experience in special education, with a deep understanding of IEP development and implementation.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to effectively manage a virtual classroom and engage students in a remote learning environment.
Proficiency with virtual teaching tools and platforms.

Compensation:

This is a 1099 contract position. Compensation details will be discussed during the interview process.
