Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher to join our team at a K-8 school near Cleveland, OH. This full-time role is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of students by providing specialized support and fostering academic success.

Responsibilities:

Deliver individualized and small group instruction to students in accordance with their IEPs.
Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to adapt and modify curriculum.
Regularly assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies to meet evolving needs.
Support students in building social, emotional, and academic skills within a positive learning environment.
Maintain communication with families and stakeholders regarding student progress and development.

Qualifications:

Active Ohio Intervention Specialist License is required.
Experience working with K-8 students in a special education setting is preferred.
Strong collaboration and organizational skills.
Commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
