Travel Cath Lab Tech – Topeka, KS

Position: Travel Cath Lab Technologist
Schedule: Day 5x8-Hour (07:30 - 16:00)


Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Cath Lab Technologist for a travel assignment in Topeka, KS.  As a vital member of the healthcare team, you will assist with cardiac catheterization procedures, including diagnostic and interventional treatments. Requirements:

  • Licensure/Certification:

  • Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) or RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification.
  • Valid Kansas State Radiologic License (if required by the state).
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) Certification.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification.
  • Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of recent Cath Lab experience.
  • Skills:

  • Proficient in assisting with diagnostic and interventional procedures.
  • Knowledge of sterile technique and patient care in a high-stakes environment.
  • Cath Lab RT that will scrub procedures in both Cath lab and Interventional Radiology. Position does require call.

     

    Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies for cath lab procedures.
  • Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations.
  • Monitor and document patient vital signs and procedure progress.
  • Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout the procedure.
