Position: Cardiac Stepdown Nurse
Location: Cookeville, TN
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 3x12 Nights (Every Other Weekend Required)

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking an experienced Cardiac Stepdown Nurse for a 13-week contract assignment in Cookeville, TN. This position offers a night shift schedule with opportunities to provide specialized care to cardiac stepdown patients.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality care to cardiac stepdown patients, maintaining a 4:1 patient-to-nurse ratio.
Monitor and manage patients recovering from cardiac procedures or heart-related conditions.
Administer medications, treatments, and monitor cardiac rhythms.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Ensure patient safety and comfort during night shifts.

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a Cardiac Stepdown or related unit.
Active Tennessee RN License or Compact License.
BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA).
Experience with cardiac patients and stepdown unit protocols.
Must be available for every other weekend rotation.
