Special Education Teacher Needed Near Near Independence, MO
Sunbelt is seeking an Special Education Teacher in the Raytown, MO area. This is a full-time position for the current school year.

Job Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field.
MO Elementary and Cross Categorical certification is required.
Experience teaching special education utilizing the co-teaching model is preferred

Job Details:

Full-time
Elementary caseload grade
Mild to moderate caseload
Assist with note taking, break down assignments, and provide daily accommodations and modifications to support student learning and help them stay on track.
Support students during a resource hour, offering extra help on assignments and testing while gathering data on specific IEP goals.
Responsible for writing IEPs and will actively participate in IEP meetings to discuss and review student progress.
