Job Title: Special Education Teacher

Location: Little Blue Valley, MO

Position Type: Full-Time, Onsite

Schedule: Monday - Friday

Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher to join our team for the new school semester. This full-time position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on the academic, social, and emotional growth of students with diverse learning needs.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s unique needs.
Create engaging and inclusive lesson plans, adapting instruction for students with varying abilities.
Provide one-on-one and small group instruction to support student learning and progress.
Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to foster an inclusive classroom environment.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field (Master’s preferred).
State teaching certification in Special Education.
Current CPR certification required.
Experience working with children or adolescents in an educational setting, especially those with special needs, preferred.
Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
