Job Title: Paraprofessional

Location: Willow Run, MI

Position Type: Full-Time, Onsite

Schedule: Monday - Friday

Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Paraprofessional to join our team for the upcoming school year in the Willow Run, MI area. This full-time position offers the opportunity to make a profound impact on the academic, social, and emotional development of our students.

Responsibilities:

Assist teachers in implementing lesson plans and instructional activities.
Provide one-on-one and small group support to students as directed by teachers or special education staff.
Support students with special needs or disabilities in achieving their educational goals.
Monitor and supervise students during classroom activities, transitions, and outdoor play.
Assist with behavior management and crisis intervention strategies as needed.
Maintain a safe and positive learning environment for all students.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (associate's degree or higher preferred).
Current CPR certification required.
Must have any relevant licensures required by state or local regulations.
Recent TB test results (within the last year).
Experience working with children or adolescents in an educational or childcare setting preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
