Position Overview:

Seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher to support students with a variety of needs in a structured learning environment across multiple schools in Dallas area. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to work closely with students, educators, and families to provide personalized, inclusive educational experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

May include any of the following, depending on specific caseload assigned:

Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to meet the unique learning needs of students with disabilities.
Provide direct instruction in both one-on-one and small group settings, ensuring all students are engaged and supported in the learning process.
Collaborate with general education teachers to adapt and modify curriculum materials to support students in inclusive classrooms.
Monitor student progress and maintain detailed records of educational outcomes and behaviors to ensure that IEP goals are being met.
Support students in social, emotional, and behavioral development, utilizing positive reinforcement and individualized strategies.
Communicate regularly with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to keep them informed about student progress and collaborate on strategies for success.
Participate in team meetings and IEP development/review sessions, working with other educators, specialists, and school administration.
Ensure a safe and supportive classroom environment conducive to learning, with clear expectations and structured routines.
Provide professional development and resources for school staff on best practices in special education.

Qualifications:

Valid TX Special Education Teacher License
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work with students of diverse abilities and backgrounds
Must be authorized to work in the USA
