Are you a skilled Sonographer looking for an exciting opportunity in Ithaca, NY? We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Ultrasound Technologist to join our team on a 13-week contract. In this role, you will perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures and ensure high-quality patient care.
Job Description: As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will be responsible for:
- Performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations in general and vascular settings
- Operating ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality images
- Interpreting and analyzing ultrasound results
- Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate diagnoses
- Maintaining patient records and documentation
- Ensuring patient comfort and safety during procedures
- Adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines
Job Details:
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Day shift
- Hours: 12-hour shifts available
- Weekly Hours: 36 hours per week
Job Requirements:
- Must have ARDMS certification
- 2 years of experience working as an Ultrasound Technologist
- Associate degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography
- BLS certification through AHA
