Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality emergency care to patients in a fast-paced ED environment.
Perform patient triage, assessment, and treatment as part of the emergency department team.
Administer medications, IV fluids, and other treatments as ordered, including critical care drips and medication administration.
Monitor cardiac rhythms and interpret EKGs, providing timely interventions when necessary.
Administer TPA (tissue plasminogen activator) and perform blood administration.
Provide procedural sedation and assist with various emergency procedures.
Participate in Code Blue situations and provide life-saving interventions.
Assess, monitor, and provide care for patients with a variety of conditions in the emergency department, including trauma, cardiac events, and other emergencies.
Maintain accurate patient records and document all treatments and procedures performed.
Collaborate with physicians, other nurses, and healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
Required Certifications:
BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC
