Job Description

A position is available for a skilled professional with expertise in speech-language pathology, particularly within a K-12 educational setting. Located in Cary, NC, this role involves working directly with elementary students, providing crucial support to enhance their communication skills.

Qualifications:

  • Valid North Carolina Speech Language Pathologist License
  • Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are welcome
  • Experience in pediatric speech therapy, particularly in schools
  • Familiarity with teletherapy practices is a plus
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Location:

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose speech and language disorders in students
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students on your caseload
  • Provide direct therapy services to approximately 45 to 50 elementary students
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student needs
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and therapy outcomes
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development opportunities
