Travel Radiation Therapist – Oak Lawn, IL

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking an experienced travel radiation therapist for a 13-week assignment in Oak Lawn, IL. Oak Lawn is a vibrant suburb of Chicago, known for its excellent healthcare facilities and welcoming community.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer prescribed doses of radiation to specific body areas using True Beam technology
  • Room patients and prepare them for treatment sessions
  • Set up treatment rooms and ensure all necessary equipment is ready
  • Monitor patients during treatment for any adverse reactions and provide necessary support
  • Maintain accurate patient records using EPIC and Mosaic charting systems
  • Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment following safety protocols
  • Work with Alaris IVs and Pyxis medication systems as needed
  • Ensure compliance with hospital and radiation safety regulations

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of radiation therapy experience
  • Active ARRT, BLS (AHA), and IEMA certifications
  • Experience with:
  • True Beam technology
  • Rooming patients and assisting with patient care
  • Setting up treatment rooms
