Job Description

Engage your expertise as a Speech Language Pathologist in Odessa, DE. This role focuses on providing dedicated support to elementary students within an Autism program, addressing the unique needs of each learner. The position is a contract role, primarily covering maternity leave, with a commitment from the end of April through October.

Qualifications:

  • Current Delaware Speech Language Pathologist license
  • CCC-SLP or CFY-SLP certification preferred
  • Experience working in school settings, particularly with elementary students
  • Strong understanding of Autism Spectrum Disorders and effective intervention strategies
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for students requiring speech and language support
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide direct speech and language therapy to students in the Autism program
