Job Description

A K-12 educational diagnostician position is available within a well-established school in Eugene, OR. This contract role offers the opportunity to apply your expertise in assessing and supporting diverse student learning needs across the full spectrum of K-12 education.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive educational evaluations and assessments to identify student strengths and areas of need.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and tailored intervention plans.
  • Analyze assessment data and provide clear, detailed reports integrating findings with educational recommendations.
  • Assist in monitoring student progress and adjusting support services as necessary.
  • Maintain compliance with state and federal special education regulations and documentation requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Valid certification as an Educational Diagnostician.
  • Experience working with K-12 student populations.
  • Strong knowledge of assessment tools and special education law.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators.
  • Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to manage multiple assessments and documentation deadlines.
