This travel role will have you collaborating within a Level IV Trauma and Primary Stroke Center environment, serving a mix of inpatient, outpatient, and ED patients with diverse imaging needs. Here, you'll be exposed to a variety of workplace approaches and have the unique opportunity to learn under different leadership stylesan excellent pathway for professional growth and development. Your time here will enhance your resume, offering fresh experience with advanced imaging technologies and practices.
Schedule/Hours
- Weekend rotation: once per month
- Call required as part of department rotation
- Time off available: up to 7 days (upon approval)
- At least one shift provided for orientation
Qualifications / Experience
- Valid ARRT (MR registered)
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum one year of MRI experience (traveler experience reviewed case by case)
- Firm grasp of MRI principles, MR safety, and peripheral IV starts with contrast injection
- Experience or familiarity with Siemens Sola 1.5T and Skyra 3T scanners preferred
- Competent communication and interpersonal abilities
Responsibilities
- Perform imaging services for inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department MRI patients
- Carry out implant workups, observe safety standards, and adhere to best MR practices
- Communicate effectively with patients and multidisciplinary teams
- Utilize EPIC for charting and documentation
- Serve on-call and participate in weekend rotation as scheduled
