As a travel MRI technologist, youll contribute your expertise at a well-equipped Level IV Trauma and Primary Stroke Center renowned for its multidisciplinary care and innovation.

Step into a dynamic hospital environment that cares for inpatient, outpatient, and Emergency Department patients needing MRI services. Schedule/Hours

  • Weekend rotation: once per month
  • Departmental on-call rotation
  • Up to 7 days pre-approved time off
  • Orientation: At least one shift to learn workflow

Qualifications & Skills

  • 1 year+ MRI imaging experience (experience with Siemens Sola 1.5T and Skyra 3T scanners highly beneficial)
  • ARRT (MR registered)
  • BLS certification
  • Solid grasp of MR principles, safety standards, implant workup, and IV contrast injection
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with EPIC charting preferred

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality MRI scans to inpatient, outpatient, and ED patients
  • Uphold MR safety protocols and perform implant screenings
  • Start and manage peripheral IVs; administer contrast as needed
  • Effectively communicate with patients and the interdisciplinary team
  • Collaborate with a supportive supervisor and adapt to various workflow needs
